What a full mock covers
A full mock is the best way to test stamina and timing. The speaking tasks come first, so a mock also checks that your microphone set-up works and that you can keep speaking without long pauses under pressure.
The official test reports an overall score and four skill scores, each on a 10–90 scale. EnglishHub results are independent practice estimates, not PTE scores. If you are taking PTE Core for Canadian immigration, check current acceptance and score requirements directly with IRCC.

Tips that work
- Take a mock in one sitting, with headphones and a quiet room, as you would on test day.
- Review every task type afterwards and pick the two weakest for focused practice.
- Leave at least a few days between mocks so practice in between has time to show.
Questions candidates ask
How long is a PTE Core mock test?
Up to about two hours, following the three-part structure of the official test.
Is the first PTE Core mock free?
Yes. EnglishHub's first mock is free, and there are 50 full mock tests in total.
Will my mock score match my real score?
No practice test can promise that. EnglishHub scores are independent estimates to guide your preparation.
Which score do I need for Canada?
Requirements depend on the programme, so confirm the current rules and score mapping with IRCC.
