What a full mock covers

The January 2026 TOEFL iBT has four sections in a fixed order: Reading (about 30 minutes), Listening (about 29), Writing (about 23) and Speaking (about 8). There is no scheduled break. Reading and Listening are adaptive; Writing and Speaking are linear.

Each section and the overall score use a 1–6 band scale. The overall score is the average of the four sections, rounded to the nearest half band, and a comparable 0–120 score is also reported during the 2026–2028 transition.

EnglishHub's mock tests follow the same section order and task types. Results are independent practice estimates, not ETS scores, and writing and speaking responses receive AI feedback.

Tips that work

  • Take at least one mock test in a single sitting to build stamina for about 90 minutes without a break.
  • Use headphones and a quiet room, and check your microphone before starting Speaking.
  • Review every wrong answer by task type to see where to focus your practice next.
  • Space full mock tests out and use targeted task practice in between.

Questions candidates ask

How long is a TOEFL iBT mock test?

About 90 minutes of test content. Allow about 2 hours, as ETS recommends for the official test, which includes directions and setup.

Is the first TOEFL mock test free?

Yes. The first of EnglishHub's 50 full TOEFL mock tests is free to take.

Will my mock result match my real TOEFL score?

No practice test can promise that. EnglishHub's results are independent estimates meant to show strengths and weak spots, not an ETS score.
