7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Not happy with Pro? You can request a full refund of your first payment within 7 calendar days of purchase if you have completed fewer than 2 practice sessions and attempted fewer than 2 mock exams on that plan. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights (section 4), not a replacement for them.

You qualify if ALL of the following are true:

  • Your purchase was made within the last 7 calendar days.
  • You've completed fewer than 2 practice sessions.
  • You've attempted fewer than 2 mock exams.
  • Your account is in good standing and not under review for terms violations.

2. When the guarantee doesn't apply

The 7-day guarantee in section 1 does not cover:

  • Requests made after the 7-day window has passed.
  • Plans on which 2 or more practice sessions or 2 or more mock exam attempts have been completed.
  • Dissatisfaction based on your exam performance, real-exam score, immigration or admissions outcome, or other factors outside the Service itself.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service (including account sharing, scraping, or abuse).

These limits apply to our voluntary guarantee only. They never limit the statutory rights described in section 4.

3. Renewals and cancelling

Every plan renews automatically at its standard price until you cancel: the 7-Day Pass every 7 days, the Monthly plan every month, and the 90-Day Pass every 90 days. A welcome-offer discount applies to the first payment only. Before you pay, the secure Stripe checkout page states these renewal terms right above the Subscribe button, and the confirmation email repeats them.

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancelling takes effect immediately for future renewals: you are not charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund the most recent charge.

We normally email a reminder 3 days and 1 day before each renewal, unless you have turned these reminders off.

If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and have not used the new period, email [email protected] (or use the contact form) within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

4. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live. Where this policy and those rights differ, the rights apply.

EU, EEA and UK: the 14-day right of withdrawal

  • Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason.
  • Pro gives you immediate access to digital content. The secure Stripe checkout page states, in the line right above the Subscribe button: “Access starts immediately, so the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies.” By clicking Subscribe, you expressly ask for your access to start now and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to withdraw once it does; clicking Subscribe is how you give that request, and there is no separate step. The right to withdraw then ends when your access starts. We record this and confirm it in the email we send after your purchase.
  • If the law of your country treats your plan as a service rather than digital content, you can still withdraw within 14 days of purchase. Because you asked for access to start during that period, we then refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had access.
  • To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email (see section 5). You can use the model wording below, but you don't have to.

Australia

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Canada, including Quebec, and elsewhere

Provincial consumer protection laws, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, and the consumer laws of other countries continue to apply to you. This policy does not exclude any right or remedy they give you.

5. How to request a refund or withdraw

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, or use the contact form with the topic “Refund or withdrawal” and that address. Include:

  1. Your account email address.
  2. The transaction date and amount charged.
  3. A short reason for the request (optional, but helps us improve).

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Model withdrawal form

To withdraw under section 4, you can copy this text into an email to [email protected], or paste it into the contact form:

To EnglishHub.io, 251 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON M5B 0C3, Canada, [email protected]:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: [plan name].
Ordered on: [date]. Account email: [email]. Name: [your name].
Date: [date].

6. Chargebacks

Let's sort it out together first

If you do not recognise a charge or have a billing concern, contact support so we can investigate promptly. This does not affect your right to contact your payment provider or exercise any statutory rights.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply only to purchases made on or after the date the updated policy is posted. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top when changes are made.
