Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 1, 2026
EnglishHub Technologies Inc. wants EnglishHub.io to be usable by everyone preparing for an English exam, including people who use assistive technology.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had the site independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we do today
- A “skip to content” link on every page, and keyboard focus styles on interactive controls.
- Light and dark themes.
- Automated accessibility checks (axe, WCAG 2 A/AA rules) and a keyboard-operability test run against a CELPIP practice hub and the CELPIP Mock 1 simulator.
- Speaking recordings are never started without your action, and every recording screen explains what happens to your audio.
Known gaps
- The timed practice and mock exams have no extended-time option yet. They follow the official timing of each test.
- Our automated checks cover only one exam (CELPIP). The other six simulators (IELTS Academic, IELTS General Training, PTE Academic, PTE Core, TOEFL iBT and OET) have not yet been scanned the same way and may contain barriers.
- Listening tasks rely on audio, as they do in the official tests.
- Some exam-style screens use drag-and-drop or highlighting interactions that may be hard to operate with some assistive technologies.
Official exam accommodations
If you need extra time or other arrangements on test day, those are granted by the official test provider, not by EnglishHub.io. Contact the provider of your exam directly; we are not affiliated with any of them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on EnglishHub.io is hard or impossible for you to use, email [email protected] with “Accessibility” in the subject, the page, and what happened. We will reply, and where we can, help you reach the content another way while we work on a fix.
